About Us

Pierce County Association of the Blind’s mission is to empower independence for the visually impaired and blind through education, awareness and interaction with the surrounding communities.

PCAB was one of the first organized blind groups in Washington state. We were established in 1934. We were active in getting the White Cane Law enacted in 1980.

If you or someone you know are experiencing vision problems, eye disease or blindness PCAB is here to help and offer support, friendship, education, resource information and more!
We openly and warmly welcome you to any of our events.
